There is a 4-day Flag day celebration in the City of Philadelphia that requires the participation of all Haitians and all friends of Haiti. We look forward to your support of all of them if possible:
Flag Raising in Philadelphia – first time event that the Haitian Coalition of Philadelphia obtained permission from the City of Philadelphia to officially make May 18th, Haitian Flag Day in Philadelphia. This important event will take place on Thursday, May 18th, at 12:30 p.m. in City Hall, northeast flagpoles. Lunch will follow the flag raising event.
Annual Fundraising event organized by the Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia on Friday, May 19;
A day of fun and celebration of culture organized by HFDCP. Come to the Philadelphia soccer team competition and award ceremony on Saturday, May 20th, at 9:00 a.m.
Art Music from Haiti – a concert to benefit the music education of Haitian children by the BLUME foundation and in conjunction with the Episcopal Church. The FREE concert will be on Sunday, May 21 at 5:00 p.m. at 38th & chestnut streets.
Come in great numbers to celebrate the freedom our ancestors obtained for us with their lives.
