You will also find information on how to place an ad in the 2014 gala book that each visitor takes with them and how to help us if you are unable to attend the gala. We appreciate all donations.
For our out-of-town visitors, we have reserved some rooms at the Marriott Courtyard in Willow Grove, PA. This hotel is within 10 minutes of the gala event location. Please book your stay no later than November 14, 2014, to guarantee that special rate. Make it a mini-vacation. Should you wish to extend your stay to visit Philadelphia, please do not hesitate to contact the Coalition prior to November 14. We look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia. Live and Hope Foundation, a breast cancer awareness foundation, is holding its 2nd Masquerade fundraising dinner on August 16, 2014. Men also have breast cancer. It is that time of the year again when we enjoy a nice afternoon of BBQ among friends. This year’s BBQ is on August 9, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Sedgely Drive and Poplar Drive, in the Art museum area of Fairmount Park. Please ensure that you check the list of items needed to make this event successful another year. Your contribution to the bbq is greatly appreciated. In honor of the feast of the Patron Saint of Haiti, Father Alfred Lauricien, O.M.I., will hold a triduum (special prayers) on Thursday, June 26, at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, June 27, at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 28, at 4:00 p.m. at the National Shrine of St. John Neumann, located at 1019 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. All are invited including non roman catholics to join in this special moment to pray for Haiti, its people, and especially for those who are currently residing there.
